So you have a website. That’s good. But maybe you don’t know what good it really is doing. So maybe you need to do some online advertising. Or some SEO or PPC or whatever.
Just like most things, you need to get some things set up correctly. That’s why I put together a little outline to help you get on track.
Here’s a list of 4 things that could make a huge difference. I hope it helps!
- Make your website clear and easy to use. Fill it with things that your customers or potential customers are looking for. Then lead them through to what you want them to do next. A phone call? An email? An order or a purchase?
- YouTube videos. Create some useful videos that either educate your potential customers about what you offer, or help them solve a problem. Enter a descriptive title and explanation when uploading the video. This helps it show up when people are searching. You can also embed the video into your website to help your website visitors. YouTube videos often show up on the first page of Google search results. Try to use a description for your video that matches the most popular search phrase for your topic. Find out what the popular search phrases are by testing them on the Google search page and looking at the list of related search terms at the bottom of the screen.
- Facebook Ads. You can get some exposure with a free Facebook page and doing some posts. But for better results use Facebook paid Ads. You don’t have to spend much to get a lot of exposure. Especially for a local area. Make your Ads interesting and/or useful.
- Google Ads. Use Google Banner Ads on the Google Display Network to get a lot of exposure for a low cost (similar to using Facebook Ads). Here again a small budget can buy a lot of exposure for your business.
